Allot is pleased to announce the release of software version E9.1.3 for Allot NetEnforcer AC-400 and AC-800 bandwidth management devices. This update improves the infrastructure of the device’s DPI engine and its ability to identify and classify uTorrent 2.0 traffic.

Part of the uTorrent improvement is provided by this software version, and part is provided by Protocol Pack 3.8. Customers should immediately install PP3.8 after they have downloaded the new software version on the device. See release notes for details.

Version E9.1.3 software and release notes are generally available on Allot’s Customer Support website. Version E9.1.3 will work with the activation key for software versions E9.1.0 and above. A new key is not required, unless you are upgrading from a software version prior to E9.1.0.

Shipping of Version E9.1.3 is scheduled to begin on August 15, 2010
