INGECOM IGNITION SIGNS WITH TXONE TO BOOST SECURITY IN THE OT ENVIRONMENT

  • The distribution agreement reached between the Value Added Distributor and the manufacturer focuses on developing business in the Iberian Peninsula.
  • TXOne Networks employs cyber-physical systems (CPS) and works with manufacturers and critical infrastructure operators to develop practical and operational approaches to cyber defence of industrial control systems (ICS) and operational technology (OT) environments.

Madrid, 11 March 2025- Ingecom Ignition, an Exclusive Networks Value Added Distributor (VAD) specialising in IT cyber security, OT/ICS cyber security, IoT and IoMT and cyber intelligence solutions, has signed a distribution agreement for Iberia with TXOne Networks, a leader in cyber-physical system (CPS) security specialising in ZeroTrust OT solutions.

TXOne Networks is an innovative and visionary company in the OT (operational technology) and ICS (industrial control system) security environment, working with both leading manufacturers and critical infrastructure operators to develop practical and operational approaches to cyber defence of industrial control systems (ICS) and operational technology (OT) environments.

With TXOne Networks, companies across multiple OT verticals implement a customised defence, including the adoption of advanced threat detection and response measures, to effectively counter ransomware and other emerging strategic threats and protect assets throughout their lifecycle. TXOne Networks protects the operations of more than 3,600 organisations globally in industries including semiconductor, automotive, pharmaceutical, food and beverage, public transportation, utilities, electronics, healthcare, mining and metals, oil and gas, and aerospace.

The company offers both End Point security solutions for pure OT environments, adapting to modern as well as legacy operating systems found in factory or medical environments. It also has solutions for industrial OT/IoT/IoMT networks, analysing network traffic and stopping an attack if so configured, all in real time and without latency.

OT protection from the endpoint to the network

Stellar. End Point Protection: EPP/EDR solution born natively for OT environments. One of the essential characteristics is that it adapts to the host where it resides, depending on its operating system and machine characteristics, which makes it a unique product as it can be installed even on very old systems with low resources or on more modern systems with more resources. As it is designed for industrial systems and these are critical, it does not need to be rebooted after installation, nor does it need to be connected to the outside to work.

Edge Series. Network Defence: These are native OT network equipment with recognition and deep inspection within the protocols, the family of products is made up of firewalls and IPS for OT environments. They can apply control over the actions they see as desired or alert; they have a centralised console to facilitate management, investigations, view vulnerabilities, etc.; it should be noted that it allows segmentation and virtual patching.

Element Series. Security Inspection: Consists of two products, a USB and a secure kiosk. The portable USB allows devices to be analysed easily and can carry out audits, without installing any software, of the programs that are running on the system, vulnerabilities, patches, etc.; it has a memory that allows information to be taken to OT devices, such as patches or configuration files, in a secure way as it cannot be written to. As for the Kiosk, it allows USB scanning so that whatever enters the factory floor is virus-free and has been previously scanned. As a curiosity, it has a touch screen that can be used with gloves and is very intuitive.

From Ingecom Ignition, Rafael Tortajada, head of the OT Area at Ingecom Ignition, comments: ‘We have signed with TXOne as it is a pure OT manufacturer with a great worldwide reputation that perfectly complements the portfolio of OT/iOT/IoMT solutions that we have at Ingecom. TXOne focuses on threat response, both End Point, if it is an EPP/EDR designed and born for OT. As well as threats that may be spreading through the network by protecting it with an IPS that knows the OT protocols and acts accordingly. We are also interested in their USB equipment, which is a must-have basic audit tool for OT environments, and which allows us to get a detailed report of what is running on an OT system without the need to install anything.

Dimitri Dutron, Channel Director at TXOne Networks Europe, said: ‘The Iberian Peninsula is a key development market for TXOne. I am excited to strengthen our local expansion through this partnership with Ingecom Ignition to offer native OT security solutions combined with local expertise. As industrial cybersecurity evolves, having a trusted local value-added distributor ensures that partners in Spain and Portugal have access to our technology with the support they need. Together, we are committed to providing the best managed security solutions for the needs of this dynamic market.
