Garland Technology products

Breakout Network TAPs (Passive and Copper)

Garland Technology’s Passive Fiber Test Access Points (TAPs) are high-density, non-powered devices that makes a full copy of any network’s data without affecting network traffic, providing visibility and the high-performance monitoring solution required to efficiently manage even the most complex network infrastructure. Garland Technology offers fiber network TAPs in network speeds of 1G, 10G, 40G and 100G, and the industry’s first Optical Multi-Mode 5 (OM5) media type for extended long-range and short-range data center applications and their environments.

Garland Technology’s Copper Test Access Points (TAPs) sets the industry’s benchmark with features to include link speed synchronization, link failure propagation, media conversion, fail-safe technology, power over ethernet, and utilization rules and alerts, allowing Garland Technology to provide the visibility required to efficiently manage the most complex network infrastructures.

Aggregator Network TAPs

AggregatorTAPs are used to capture 100% full duplex traffic; the traffic can then be sent to multiple monitor appliances to analyze your network. AggregatorTAPs support aggregation, ‘TAP’ breakout and regeneration/SPAN modes providing flexibility to manage your network.

UniversalTAP functionality supports aggregation, ‘TAP’ breakout, regeneration/SPAN and bypass modes, allowing you to fully deploy and manage your monitoring and security appliances and guarantee 100% network uptime.

Network Packet Brokers

Garland’s “deconstructed packet brokers” offer a specialized device for each of your needs: Advanced aggregators: filtering, aggregation and load balancing, Advanced features: deduplication, packet slicing and time stamping, Hybrid NPB’s with TAP integration, Inline Edge Security solutions and Fully supported ports - no additional per-port license fees.

XtraTAP

Garland Technology’s XtraTAPTM: All-In-1 Test Access Points (TAPs) sets the industry’s benchmark with features, including link speed synchronization, remote access and management and utilization rules and alerts, allowing Garland Technology to provide the visibility required to efficiently manage the most complex network infrastructures.

Ensure that monitoring ports do not become oversubscribed with unneeded data by filtering through the packets and traffic not needed, ultimately providing the visibility required to efficiently manage most complex network infrastructure.

Inline Edge Security

Garland Technology’s Inline Edge Security is the first line of defense for security threats and breaches by providing 100% visibility for security tools like firewalls, Intrusion prevention system (IPS), Web application firewall (WAF), Data loss prevention, Distributed denial of service (DDoS) protection, or SSL decryption to protect and monitor.
